Bush clearing around the world is happening for many reasons & developing tourism industry in Sodwana is one of the factors influencing the eradication of indigenous trees in our area (land requirements, forestry, vegetable farming, medicinal purposes, firewood, wooden curios, etc). Natural Moments is aiming to create awareness about the problem among locals & tourists. Working together with local CWP projects, volunteer groups & locals we have been planting indigenous trees in Sodwana.
We are asking for your help. Please buy an indigenous tree – take it away to plant at home or sponsor a tree to be planted here in Sodwana. Trees cost R20.
